'At The Top' Promises Unforgettable Dubai Experience
Burj Dubai, the world's tallest building, is set to open a public observation deck on level 124 this year, offering sweeping vistas of Dubai.

Billed as one of the world's highest observation decks, "At The Top" is also designed to be an evocative and interactive journey through the history and evolution of Dubai as well as Burj Dubai.

Burj Dubai general manager Thomas Dempsey promised that At The Top would be a never-before experience for visitors.

"The entire journey -- starting from the welcome lobby at The Dubai Mall through a 65-metre travelator to the vertical travel in a double-deck elevator to finally watching the world uninterrupted from Level 124 -- is educational, inspirational, compelling and thoroughly fulfilling," he said in a statement.

After taking an approximately 60-minute elevator ride to level 124, guests will be welcomed with floor-to-ceiling glass providing unobstructed 360-degree views.

Visitors will also be able venture outside onto the open-air deck to peer into the distance or down to the familiar streets below.

Developed by Emaar Properties, Burj Dubai is over 800m in height and has over 160 storeys, the most floors in any building anywhere in the world.
